If you are serious on purchasing a specific pup (breed, gender, coloring, etc.), we can place a special order for that particular dog. A cash deposit is REQUIRED before we begin the process. If you are considering a special order or would like more information, please give us a call.
If you are looking at a specific breed(s) and would like to see them in the store we can add your name to the "Wish List." When we get the specific type of puppy you're interested in, we will call you to let you know; no obligation.
We accept Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and financing through Wags or MyPet. We do not accept personal checks OR American Express.
If you find a pup you love but are unable to bring him/her home that day, you may place a non-refundable/non-transferable cash deposit. This will reserve that pup for 24 hours. We cannot hold or reserve a dog for anyone without a cash deposit.
NH STATE LAW
"Under state law, within 14 days of your purchase, you may have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice. Unless such exam indicates the animal is free of disease, you may obtain a substitution of similar animal of equal value or, at your option, a full refund of the purchase price, but only if within 2 business days of such examination you return the diseased animal to the store along with a written statement from the veterinarian that the animal was not free from disease."
(in Layman's Terms):
Within the first 14 days, if your vet finds that the pup has a disease, you can RETURN it for a full refund of the purchase price, EXCHANGE it for another pup, *OR* you can keep it and pay your own vet expenses. THE CHOICE IS YOURS. (You do not get to keep the puppy and receive any refunds or reimbursements. The business is NOT liable for your expenses. (As a courtesy, we will reimburse up to $25 towards medications w/vet documentation.) The law protects both the consumer and the business.
Our Deposit Policy: (Must be paid in CASH ONLY!)
"Any payments made, whether partial or full, reserves a puppy in your name. You understand that although the dog is reserved for you, the puppy is still owned by and under the care of Pick of the Litter. Transfer of ownership only takes place when the contract is completed and you leave the premises with the pup. Because puppies' immune systems are not fully developed and are fragile, it is possible the pup may get sick. If the dog starts showing any symptoms of coming down with any sort of cold or illness between the time of the deposit, you will be contacted. If this happens, the pup cannot and will not be released until the pup is well. You understand and agree that no guarantees can be made on how long it may take for the pup to become well, and that no pup will be allowed to go home while being treated and/ or on medication. If you are not willing to wait until the dog is well, you may opt out of the purchase, but you understand and agree that the deposit amount will NOT be refunded for any reason."
We ask all potential customers to review our contract prior to making a deposit or purchasing a puppy. As with any transaction, if you do not like the terms- do not agree to them. It is a legal and binding agreement, and should be taken seriously. All fairness considered, we do and will uphold the contract in it's entirety without exception.
Our 48-Hour Return Policy:
We discourage impulse buys, and want you to be 100% sure before taking home a new puppy. If you change your mind for ANY reason, there is a 30% CA$H (not debit/credit, etc.) return fee.
14 Day Merchandise Return Policy
You may return non-clearance merchandise up to 14 days from date of purchase if all of the following conditions are met:
> Must have original register receipt
> Must be in new condition, tags attached
> Must not be soiled or have an odor
You will receive a store credit;
NO refunds, no exceptions.
All clearance items are final sales and not eligible for store credit.
